Opportunities to Help

Volunteers are the heart of the Jenks Food Bank. We are an all-volunteer organization. In the past, we had many opportunities for people to help with multiple tasks such as serving clients and picking up food from retailers.

If you’d like to volunteer, please email your name, cell number, age if under 18, and days (Wed or Sat 9:30-12:30) that you would be available.

We are building a new list of volunteers to match to volunteer work for our very busy holiday season.

Additionally, you could hold a food drive in your neighborhood, church, or business.

The people of Jenks are very generous and caring. We will arrange a time for you to bring the food and stock the shelves. Call us at 918-995-7117 and we can discuss our food shortages.

We appreciate your patience as we find an opportunity for you to help our community.

Thank you.

Volunteers are the HEART of the Jenks Community Food Bank.

We are fortunate to have
Jenks Rotary and Sunrise Rotary, National Charity League ladies, school clubs, plus local churches (First Christian Church,
St. James Presbyterian Church,
Newspring Family Church,
First Baptist Jenks) who regularly help.

We have many food donation pickup opportunities. Driving is required and an SUV, pickup truck, or van with removable seats is needed.
