Volunteer Form

Donation Pickup:

Saturdays can become crowded, so there may be a limit on volunteers if too many arrive. Thanks for understanding.

Special work days for groups can be scheduled.  Contact us for possible dates/times.

Volunteers are the HEART of the Jenks Community Food Bank.

We are fortunate to have Jenks Rotary and Sunrise Rotary, National Charity League
ladies, school clubs, plus
local churches (First
Christian Church,

St. James Presbyterian

Church, Newspring Family

Church, First Baptist

Jenks) who regularly help.

Trader Joe’s Pickup: Tuesday or Friday at 2:45pm.  Pickup donations from Trader Joe’s (at 37th Street and Peoria). Load boxed fresh foods and return to the food bank by 3:45. We’ll help you unload and weigh the boxes. Choose one day per month (or two if you desire).

Bimbo Bakery Bread/Dessert Pickup: Thursdays at 9am. Select trays of sliced bread and boxed desserts at the trays, Bimbo Bakery Depot at 51st and 129th E Ave in Tulsa.  Return to the food bank, weigh the order, then place the bread in our walk-in the refrigerator. Choose a Thursday of the month as yours (2nd, 3rd, 4th).

Reasor’s Pickup: Thursdays at 10:30am. Select a Thursday as yours each month (all weeks are open). Reasor’s in Jenks at 101st and Elm. Enter the warehouse at the back of the store and pick up boxes of bread, desserts, and grocery items. After returning to the food bank, sort and weigh boxes according to item category. Place in the walk-in.

We have many food donation pickup opportunities. Driving is required and an SUV, pickup truck, or van with removable seats is needed.

This is element header.

Volunteers are the heart of the Jenks Food Bank. We are an all-volunteer organization. In the past, we had many opportunities for people to help with multiple tasks such as serving clients and picking up food from retailers.

If you’d like to volunteer, please email your name, cell number, age if under 18, and days (Wed or Sat 9:30-12:30) that you would be available.

We are building a new list of volunteers to match to volunteer work for our very busy holiday season.

Additionally, you could hold a food drive in your neighborhood, church, or business.

The people of Jenks are very generous and caring. We will arrange a time for you to bring the food and stock the shelves. Call us at 918-995-7117 and we can discuss our food shortages.

We appreciate your patience as we find an opportunity for you to help our community.

Thank you.
